It's time for our big autumn clean-up and winterizing event! Join us on Nov. 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday) from 10 am to 2 pm to help prepare the garden for winter.

Tasks include:

• Remove tape from cardboard and lay it down to cover walkways and other areas.

• Spread mulch over the cardboard to eliminate grass.

• Team up with garden neighbors to clear waste from your plot.

• Haul garden waste to a local compost facility.

• Remove weeds and encroaching plants from the garden perimeter.

This is a great chance to complete your required 8 volunteer hours (per plot). If you've already completed your hours, your extra help is much appreciated!
