Autumn Harvest Festival

  • Date: Saturday, October 19

It’s that magical time of year when the trees get fancy, the air turns crispy, and the mosquitoes are sent back to the hell from whence they came. To ring in Minnesota’s most elegant season, the Mounds Park Community Garden invites you to a special gathering: our Autumn Harvest Festival. It’s the perfect way to embrace the beauty of fall and enjoy a day full of fun, food, and festivities with friends and neighbors.

This event is open to everyone—whether you’re a member at the garden or just curious about what we do, we’d love to have you. The day will kick off with a warm welcome, hot cider and appetizers as you arrive and settle in. From there, you can look forward to a variety of autumn-themed activities, including games, crafts, and friendly competitions. Think scarecrow making, classic lawn games, and more!

As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather for a delicious sit-down potluck dinner. Bring a dish to share, especially if it features garden-fresh ingredients or seasonal flavors. There will also be a pie contest, so don’t miss your chance to showcase your best recipes!

To close out the evening, we’ll light a bonfire and enjoy some live music and storytelling under the stars. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a day of community and celebration.

We’d love to know if you’re coming, so please RSVP on our Facebook event page (above). If you plan to bring food or contribute in other ways, please add your name and information to this spreadsheet. Also, we will have a handicap-accessible portable toilet available.

We are so excited for this event. We can’t wait to see you there!
