You are cordially invited to participate in the August meeting of The Finer Things Club.

What is the Finer Things Club?

The Finer Things Club is a monthly gathering at the Mounds Park Community Garden, typically on a Sunday from 10-12.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed to impress in their Sunday best. Topics of discussion are proposed and voted on before the meeting. Example topics of discussion might include books, art, culture, poetry, or whatever else strikes our fancy.

Fine china and tea sets are encouraged, but not required (this is a garden after all). Attendees volunteer to bring either a delectable appetizer, a scrumptious main dish, or a delightful dessert, and tasty beverages.

The topic of discussion for the August gathering of the Finer Things Club is yet to be decided. Participation in the discussion is not required. One can simply attend to enjoy the company of friends in the bucolic setting of our beautiful community garden.
