Get excited! Membership registration for the 2025 season is open. Select this link to submit your 2025 garden application. We’re thrilled to welcome returning gardeners and new friends! Here’s what you need to know.
How registration works
Everyone needs to submit an application, even current members.
Once you submit your application you will receive a verification email.
If you do not receive your email verification, check your email’s spam inbox! It may be in there. Please mark it as not spam.
Jan. 1 - Jan. 15: Applications processed for returning members (welcome back!).
Jan. 15 - Jan. 29: Applications from the waitlist processed.
After January 29: If the waitlist is fulfilled and there are still vacant plots, applications from returning gardeners who didn’t meet 2024 requirements will then be processed. (More information on this below.)
Sliding scale fees
We want to make garden membership as accessible as possible. So just like last year, all plot fees are on a sliding scale:
4x8x2' ADA-accessible bed ($15 - $22)
5x10' ($22 - $30)
10x10' ($30 -$36) sold out for 2025
10x20' ($40 - $66) sold out for 2025
20x20' ($85 - $110) sold out for 2025
If money is a barrier for you: please contact us to inquire about donated plots! Last year, we received a donation that made it possible to provide a free membership for an applicant. (Isn’t that cool?!)
New Payment Structure for 2025
In 2025 we’re adding a refundable $25 fee to plot fees.
The refundable fee is a down payment for upholding annual requirements such as plot maintenance and volunteering.
For annual requirements, please review the garden rules.
Members who complete their annual requirements at the end of a growing season can:
Roll over their fee to the following year (and years after that)
Cash out their fee if they’re not returning the following year
For members who do not meet volunteer requirements or who fail to maintain their plots: your fee will be donated to the garden’s general fund at the end of the year for general improvements and/or supplies.
Previous members only
For returning gardeners who:
Did not meet 2024 requirements for volunteer hours or;
Failed to maintain their plot, but;
Want to return in 2025;
You can still apply for 2025. Your application will be reviewed by the Steering Committee. If your application is approved and there are still vacant plots, your application will be processed for a $25 fee. You’ll then be invoiced for your 2025 plot fee and refundable $25 down payment.
Why this change?
We understand that not everyone can complete all 8 volunteer hours or maintain their plot according to the garden rules. The new fee structure offers added flexibility for gardeners while ensuring the community garden stays in good shape. This approach allows us to accommodate different needs while maintaining fairness for everyone.
